Weston Hecker

Weston Hecker has 11 years of pen-testing experience, 12 years of security research and programming experience while working for a security company in the Midwest. He has recently spoken at Defcon 22, Defcon 23, 2015 SC-Congress Toronto, 2015 ISC2 Anaheim California, and Enterprise Connect Orlando 2016. He has had over 40 other speaking engagements from telecom regional events to speaking at Universities on security items. He is working on a major University's research project with Department of Homeland Security on 9/11 emergency systems and attack mitigation. He attended school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, majoring in Computer Science and Geophysics. He is the co-author of "SkimBad," an anti-malware framework. He has found several vulnerabilities in very popular software and firmware released by Microsoft, Qualcomm, Samsung, HTC, & Verizon.
